Whether you're moving your family overseas, relocating your business, or shipping valuable equipment internationally — Oakbridge and our sister division Initial Express handle every detail from your front door to your destination.
One Company. Complete Service.
From your front door to your destination — we handle everything
Home Collection
Our uniformed crew arrives at your property, carefully disassembles and packs your belongings for international transit. We come to you — no trips to a depot.
Export Packing
We export-pack your items to international shipping standards — custom timber crating for fragile items, specialist wrapping for antiques, artwork and electronics. Everything protected for ocean or air transit.
Container Freight
Powered by Initial Express, we arrange your shipping container — sole-use 20ft or 40ft for full households, or groupage (shared container) for smaller loads. Worldwide destinations.
Container Loading
Our experienced crew loads your shipping container to maximise space and security. Items are strapped, braced and protected to withstand the rigours of international sea freight.
Documentation & Customs
Initial Express handles all freight documentation, customs declarations, bills of lading and import/export paperwork. We navigate the complexity so you don't have to.
Destination Delivery
We arrange delivery from the destination port to your new address worldwide — through our network of trusted international partners. Truly door-to-door.
Choose Your Container Option
Groupage
Best for partial loads
- Share container space with other customers moving in the same direction
- You only pay for the space your belongings occupy
- Ideal for 1–2 bedroom moves or partial shipments
- Longer transit times but most cost-effective option
- Worldwide destinations
20ft Container
Best for 2–3 bedroom homes
- Exclusive use of a 20ft shipping container
- Approx 1,000 cubic feet of space
- Holds contents of a typical 2–3 bedroom home
- Faster departure and more destination options vs groupage
- Secure — your container, your lock, your key
40ft Container
Best for larger homes & businesses
- Exclusive use of a 40ft shipping container
- Approx 2,000 cubic feet of space
- Ideal for 4+ bedroom homes or office/business relocations
- Maximum security and flexibility
- Also suitable for vehicles, machinery and specialist equipment
